Information You Provide
- Account information: Name, email address, company or channel name when you create an account or sign up for a demo.
- YouTube channel data: When you connect your YouTube channel, we access your channel handle, video metadata (titles, descriptions, publishing dates, thumbnails), and publicly available analytics. We use the YouTube Data API to retrieve this information.
- Social media handles: Optional Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok handles you provide during signup.
- Payment information: Billing details are collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your credit card number, bank account number, or other financial account details on our servers.
- Communications: Information you provide when contacting support, submitting applications, or communicating with us through Intercom or email.
- Form submissions: Information submitted through our Founding Creator application form, including channel details, subscriber counts, and revenue ranges.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, actions taken within the Service, timestamps, and session duration.
- Click and conversion data: When subscribers click tracking links in video descriptions or newsletters, we record the click event, the referring video, the destination page, and any resulting purchases. This data is used to provide revenue attribution analytics to creators.
- Newsletter engagement: Open rates, click-through rates, and subscriber activity within newsletters sent through the Service.
- Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution.
- Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyze usage patterns.
Information from Third Parties
- YouTube API Services: We access YouTube channel and video data through the YouTube Data API. Our use of YouTube API Services is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
- Stripe: We receive transaction confirmations, subscription status, and payment event notifications from Stripe. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Resend: We use Resend for email delivery. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
Google API Services User Data Policy
MixMailer's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We only access YouTube data that is necessary to provide the Service.
- We do not sell YouTube data to third parties.
- We do not use YouTube data for advertising purposes unrelated to the Service.
- We do not allow humans to read YouTube data except as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, or with the user's explicit consent.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Generate newsletters, lead magnets, and other content products from your YouTube videos.
- Track clicks and conversions from video description links to provide revenue attribution analytics.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Send transactional emails related to your account, including newsletters generated by the Service.
- Communicate with you about the Service, including support inquiries and product updates.
- Analyze usage patterns to improve features and user experience.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues.

How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We share data with third-party providers who perform services on our behalf, including Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (website hosting), Intercom (customer support), and Amazon Web Services (file storage). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
- YouTube API: Data retrieved from YouTube APIs is used solely within the Service and is not shared with other third parties.
- Subscriber data: Email subscriber data belongs to the creator whose channel generated the subscription. Subscribers receive newsletters and product communications only from the creator they subscribed to.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
Data Retention
- Account data: Retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except as required for legal or legitimate business purposes.
- YouTube data: Video metadata and transcripts are retained for as long as your account is active. Full transcripts may be deleted after processing if summaries have been generated.
- Click and conversion data: Retained for as long as your account is active to provide historical analytics.
- Subscriber data: Creator subscriber lists are retained for as long as the creator's account is active. Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time through the link provided in every newsletter.
- Payment records: Retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption at rest, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
